On Thursday, July 30, 2015, MACM hosted its first webinar and what better topic than telemedicine? The webinar — Telemedicine: Healthcare Across the Miles — was broadcast “live” from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on that day, but is now available to our insureds and their clinics “on demand”.
The webinar featured Kathy Stone, RN, Assistant Director of Risk Management, and Stephanie C. Edgar, JD, Legal Counsel, covering the legal and risk management aspects of telemedicine.
During the webinar, our presenters gave an update on the most recent regulations covering telemedicine practice in Mississippi. As part of the webinar, insureds and clinic staff were able to submit questions to our presenters who answered them during the presentation. A copy of the Q&A session is also available “on demand”.
