Stephanie C. Edgar, JD joined MACM in 2015. Prior to MACM, she practiced medical malpractice defense for eleven years. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2001 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi in 2004. Stephanie is a member of the Mississippi Bar, American Health Lawyers Association, American Association of Corporate Counsel, Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, and Defense Research Institute. She holds the AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethical standards and legal ability. Stephanie was also recognized in 2014 by Mid-South Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in the area of healthcare law. Stephanie is a frequent speaker on risk management and legal issues.
